What the check covers today
EU limits come from the EU Pesticides Database and are updated every week. Results are guidance: your records are your own declaration, and a lab residue test is the proof.

If I wait the right number of days, will my produce pass?
Waiting lowers the risk but does not prove it. Residues also depend on the dose, the weather and the product. Only a lab residue test before shipping proves the crop is under the limit.
Where do the limits and bans come from?
EU limits and approvals come from the EU Pesticides Database, updated every week. Waiting periods come from product labels. China bans come from MARA lists, Kenya rules from the PCPB 2025 review, and US revocations from the EPA. For the UK, Japan, Australia, UAE and Saudi Arabia we show the EU limit; their own limits can differ. Each result names its source and date.
Is the PDF record an export certificate?
No. It is your own record of sprays with a QR code your buyer can check. You still need the phytosanitary certificate from your plant-health authority (KEPHIS in Kenya) and, for most buyers, a lab test.
Who can see my farm records?
You, your team, and the packhouse, exporter, co-op or agronomist you give your farm code to. A buyer sees only the records you send them.
Does it work outside Kenya, and in Kiswahili?
Yes. Farms in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Burundi get their own country guide and documents. The whole app works in English and Kiswahili.
Is it really free?
Yes, today. If paid features come later, we will tell you before anything changes, and your records stay yours.
Does it cover a full GLOBALG.A.P. audit, or the EU deforestation rules?
Partly. It keeps the records auditors ask for (sprays, fertilizer, lab tests, water, workers, harvests and farm maps) and gives a readiness check, but the auditor still inspects the farm and only a certification body certifies it. For the EU deforestation rules, which cover coffee but not potatoes or fresh vegetables, the farm map downloads your plot boundaries. The full list is on africompliance.com/coverage.
What does my buyer see when they scan the QR code?
The record for that harvest only: sprays and waiting periods, fertilizer, lab results, the mapped block with its area and centre point, and the lot story from seed to delivery. Your other records and the full shape of your farm stay private.
