AfriCompliance ("we", "our") is operated by NANO AI Agency, Kenya. We protect your personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and applicable EU data protection law for users in the EU.
1. What we collect
- Phone number and email — to create your account and send sign-in codes.
- Name (optional), farm name and location (GPS) — to set up your farm records.
- Farm records — sprays, fertilizer, water tests, workers, harvests and other entries you make.
- KEPHIS registration number — optional.
- Readiness assessment answers — to give you a score and action list.
- Feedback and "notify me" numbers — if you choose to send them.
- Label photos — used only to read the product name; not stored by us.
- Anonymous check counts — the crop, product, market and result of each free check, without your name, phone, email or IP address — so we know which crops and products to add.
2. How we use it
- To run checks, keep your farm records, and create reports and PDFs you request.
- To send sign-in codes and, if you opt in, harvest alerts.
- To answer feedback and tell you about new tools you asked to hear about.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your farm records with buyers, packhouses or certifiers unless you choose to — for example by sharing your farm code or a QR record.
3. Services that process data for us

Some of these providers process data outside Kenya, including in the United States. We use them only to run the service, and all connections use encryption (TLS).
4. Your rights
- Access — ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your account and associated data.
- Portability — download your farm records as PDF, or ask us for a copy.
- Objection — tell us to stop using your data for a particular purpose.
To use any of these rights, email info@africompliance.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), Kenya.
5. How long we keep it
Farm records are kept for 3 years, matching GLOBALG.A.P. record-keeping requirements, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Sign-in sessions expire 30 days after you sign in.
